Description of the tour
Flamengo’s Park, commonly known as Aterro de Flamengo was reclaimed from the sea during the late nineteenth and the mid-twentieth century. It was conceived and landscaped by the wellknown Carlota de Macedo Soares and her close colleague, the botanist Roberto Burle Marx.
