Rio is animated throughout the year by a large number of events with very diverse atmospheres and crowds. From the Gay Parada held along Copacabana beach in November and in Niteroi in June, to the much more traditional Junina festival, celebrating São João, São Pedro and São Antônio in June, marked by the Northeast traditions where you will dance the forrò among the gauchos, to the open door weekend in Santa Teresa where you will visit artists’ workshops and private houses open for the occasion. And of course, Rock in Rio, one of the world’s largest Rock festivals, whose next edition will be held in Rio in 2024 from September 13 to 22.
